Challenges the whole basis of siloed thinking by arguing that separation itself -- of economy from ecology, of city from hinterland, of human from nature -- is the root problem. Too abstract for operational use but excellent for strategic reflection. Connects to Ubuntu (we are because others are) and to the finding that resilience is relational.

Used mainly in critical ecology and governance circles to mean deliberately weaving humans, cities, economies, and technology back into living systems and mutual dependence.
